A flat bottle vase, unglazed, ideal for windowsills and other narrow places.
The coarse, dark clay has been manipulated to give a strong texture in this slab built vase.
The face facing the flames is glossier and has some ash deposited toards the top. The other side is matt and lighter in colour.
Note that, due to the stresses of the firing, a small crack has opened up in the side, so the vase should not be filled more than half way with water.
