A serving platter or shallow bowl, with an ash glaze on the inside and left unglazed on the outside. The outside is a warm mahogany brown. with an area of golden wood ash on the rim where it faced the flames. The glaze on the inside is a translucent green over the speckled clay, with runs on one side where ash and fluxes have landed, and a more speckled brown on the other, more sheltered side, and a little crazing where the glaze has pooled.
