An irregular faceted pot, hand carved from a chunk of clay, with a reassuring weightiness.
It may be used for condiments and sauces or small desserts at the table; for planting succulents or as a bud vase.
The Country range is ideal for a relaxed and informal feel at the table. Pieces are hand thrown from a buff, speckled stoneware clay, and then glazed with a silky, slightly textured white glaze made from wood ash. The glaze shows the underlying colour of the clay where thin, and may form thicker pools or crawl away to reveal the clay.
