Small thrown stoneware beakers (or tumblers) for drinking, or use as a vase or as a pen pot holder.
These can be seen as a family, with slight variations between each one. Based on a brown/black iron glaze, there are variations in glaze thickness and firing schedule, and also the use of additions to modify the glaze slightly. So the variegation of the glaze may differ; the black may head towards a deep navy blue or have a hint of purple, ;the brown may move towards red, sometimes as a lustre; or there may be small dimples or other subtle textures in the glaze.
Weight is about 250-320g (9-11oz), and capacity 200-300ml (7-10 US fl.oz.).
